Here’s a work in progress of me at the moment. In “absorption mode”…going through my period of observing, and absorbing…collecting and being feeding on inspiration. The past couple of weeks, I had the chance to check out the Star Wars Exhibit at the Science Center as well as the Natural History Museum. I also made a stop at good ol csuf. It felt so good to drop by Marshall Vandruff’s animal drawing class and sit in his company, and meet character designer David Colman from Cartoon Network. I took home one of his animal character design book! Great material! I found my armature wire and tracked down some gray sculpey. I will be starting on a new sculpture concept soon with my new mentor, sensei Peter Minister!
